INSET
(NEGATIVE OFFSET)

OUTSET
(POSITIVE OFFSET)

Inset is the distance
between the mounting
face of the disc and the
rim centerline. This
distance is called inset
when the mounting
face is inside of the rim
centerline.

Outset is the distance
between the mounting
face of the disc and the
rim centerline. This
distance is called outset
when the mounting face
is outside of the rim centerline.
